Photography is a way of feeling, of touching, of loving. What you have caught on film is captured forever... it remembers little things, long after you have forgotten everything.
I am a very silly, fun loving photographer with an obsession with all things funky and old. My eye draws me to bright colors and vintage inspirations and my photos reflect just that. I want your session to be as fun and easy going as possible, a break from your normal routine. No cheesy fake smiles here! I want to capture who you are RIGHT NOW because you will never be that person again. I believe time is something to be captured and celebrated and through my photography, that is my ultimate goal. I want to stop time, to freeze the moment for you to hold in your hands as a treasured memory.
Photography has been a hobby I’ve explored several times before. I started looking at it as something more when I spend countless hours searching tirelessly (and fruitlessly) for a wedding photographer that fit my style and budget.
In April 2010, my best friend and husband helped me purchase my first DSLR. I had finally found my glove, my perfect fit. Paired with my undying love of children and inspired by the beauty they see in the world, Olive Photos was born. Now I hope you allow me the chance to use my passion to capture those moments you won’t get back and turn them in to memories you can cherish forever.
Creative photographs shouldn’t cost an arm and a leg. I hope to make my services available to everyone, no matter their budget. Serving the Central Alabama area but willing to travel, I hope to work with you soon!
